Heritage Auctions, Auction 3006, Lot 21003 Oliver Cromwell Halfcrown 1658, S-3227A, KMB207, sharp AU, reflective fields, once cleaned long ago, now nicely toned, outstanding appearance, a most important type coin. The few Cromwell coins produced were from dies by Thomas Simon, and from the presses of Peter Blondeau. Cromwell's death in 1658 assured the short run of this series.
