most probably from the "Moselgold" Machtum hoard, digged out from the ground of the Mosel river in 1958 from an industrial excavator producing gravel for road construction. Some coins are reported to be discovered after road construction works inside the bulldozed road-gravel.

from the "Moselgold" Machtum hoard (nb. 48 = ex Schulman 236 lot 1392) and digged out from the ground of the Mosel river in 1958 from an industrial gravel excavator. 26 from currently 79 known hoard coins are nowadays located at the Luxembourgish coin cabinett MNHA. Congratulations to the new owner!
