This coin also = Salton-Schlessinger FPL 27 (Fall 1958), No. 63 ("ex Major de Laval Collection") = Glendining "Property of a Nobleman" [Count de Laval] (18 April 1955), Lot 408.1 (not ill., but cataloged as 16.61g). No doubt the same coin cataloged by Thompson (540d.3) as "Commerce 1955, gr. 16.61."
Whether she saw it with Laval's collection (of which she cites several) or Salton's (of which she also cites several) is not entirely clear.

With the wreath border on the obverse, the secondary control between the legs, and the date HΞΡ, this is SC 1907.1a.

Ex Otto Helbing 63, 1931 (Professor Prix), lot 290.
I actually contacted Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles Inc., via their website interface (not by email), approximately two weeks prior to the auction but received no response and they obviously did not correct the information on their website (the printed catalogs had already been sent).

This coin also discussed in Aaron Berk's Podcast https://youtu.be/eldZPt9PqcE
but apparently nobody checked and noticed the wrong pedigree.. curious how this mistake can happen to such a rare and important coin... especially since faking provenance became prominent.

The stated provenance on this coin ("Ex NYS XLII (9 January 2018), 427; Gasvoda Collection (NAC 94, 6 October 2016), 15;") appears to be incorrect, as can be verified by the ACSEARCH link:
It most certainly is NOT the Gasvoda/NYS/NAC coin cited in the description. Instead, it may be an aureus that has not recently appeared in any known auction, at least to the extent that those auctions are catalogued on ACSEARCH.
